The College Board administers AP Exams each year in May. Students who complete AP Spanish with GaVS are encouraged to take AP Exams; however, College Board AP Exams are optional for GaVS students. All GaVS students must take GaVS Final Exams in AP courses. College Board AP Exams do not affect grades in GaVS courses.
Public and private school students will take AP exams at their face-2-face school.
Home-schooled students, contact AP Services in September for the names of schools in your area that offer the exam/s that is needed. The phone number for AP Services is: 888-225-5427.
NO GOOGLE DOCS, Please Type Your Assignments, Submit Audios in a Separate File
Please be aware that GaVS policy prohibits the use of Google Docs. As a GaVS student you have access to the Office 365 suite of tools which includes Word and PowerPoint. You can access these tools by going into your GaVS email and clicking on the little grid in the upper left hand corner.
Please always type your assignments! Handwritten and scanned work is hard to read. If you do no know how to type accents or the tilde ˜ , go to Class Resources: there is a link to a page that will help you type accents on your keyboard.
Always submit Audios in a separate file, do not embed them in a PPT. You can also use vocaroo.com to record your audios.
